About Debra

I'd describe my personality as caring, curious and empathetic I like tutoring because some children work better in small groups or with individualized attention. I enjoy catering to their learning style and assisting them to grow and succeed in school. I also enjoy building a relationship with them while using their interests to aid in the learning process. I'm looking for a job that enables me to use my expertise to assist children in obtaining their educational goals. As a Special Education teacher, I enjoy working in small groups or with one-on-one instruction. I started tutoring when I became employed as an Educator. I also tutored my daughter while she was in Elementary school. In my spare time, I like to do yoga, read and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I am very patient and caring. My skills include using visuals, differentiating lessons according to ability, and organization.
