About Delaney

I'd describe my personality as calm, caring and tidy! I like working with kids because I am kind of a giant little kid! I enjoy being outside and would prefer to partake in physical activity over screen time!! I am creative and can figure out developmentally appropriate activities to do indoors or outdoors with whatever toys/household items you have! My skills include being a master of distraction at the first sign of a tantrum and problem solving when it comes to sharing toys! I started working with kids when I was about 12. I took the Red Cross babysitting course in middle school and have enjoyed working with kids ever since! One thing you should know about me is I have experience working with individuals with disabilities. I am currently in training to work at an after school program for kids with other abilities! In my spare time, I like to workout! I love going for a long walk or a run. I also love to read, listen to music, bake and or play the guitar!
