Hello dear Fam! I'm fluent in both Spanish and English. I have a degree in Early Early Childhood Education, Psychology and Social and Behavioral Science majors. I'm also CPR, First Aid, Trustline, PASS, and California Child Abuse Mandated Reporter certified. I have vast experience, knowledge, techniques, passion and education regarding how to address, support and inform young children and their family members effectively despite coming from different backgrounds such as: Needs, age, culture, race and household/parental style management and settings. As a volunteer PreK teacher in 2022, I created activities, assess and assist children individually and collectively. In a way that could allow them all to boost, gain, and practice important milestones, knowledge, and skills. In various aspects of their life and as a part of a large group of children such as: Their mind, body, motor, socially, behavioral competence and fast critical problem solving skills.

Desiree cared for our baby boy for about 3 months, starting at age 5 months. She was very caring for our baby, energetic and creative in play and teaching, and communicative with us parents. During 35 hour weeks (with 1 short day as she finished up her degree), she cared for him while we worked from home. That meant feeding him, playing, reading, singing, changing, going on walks to parks, and putting him down for naps. She also did baby chores (washing, sterilizing, preparing homemade baby food, laundry, cleaning) and helped around the house with other things when time permitted. She brought in fun, creative ideas like making a cardboard box with fairy lights on the ceiling for our baby to look up at, which helped with sitting practice. She took time to ask us for feedback and to discuss observations she had about our baby. We appreciated her caring for our baby!
