About Diana

I have five years of teaching experience in English language arts, Math, and English as a second language. I am passionate about language and literacy. I love helping students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills. I also have experience in tutoring for the ACT test and assisted high school students with their college applications. I have worked in various education non-profit settings as well as school settings, ranging from elementary to community college. I left the classroom to pursue my doctorate degree in Educational Linguistics at UPenn. I meet students and families where they are, and am intentional with differentiating lessons based on student progress and learning needs. Relationship building is important to me throughout the learning process; it is vital to have fun while learning!
