About Dina

I've been in the Health Care Profession for 13 years. 8 1/2 years Acute Care Nursing (Certified N. A), 4 1/2 years doctor's office (Back Nurse). I took a change in the medical field to raise a family. Now grown, I started work as a care giver in 07. I am specializing with Dementia and Alzheimer. I've learned so much in this field since I started home health care. I believe in quality care and working with the client to utilize their skills to the fullest. I am able to do personal care (grooming, bathing, help with bathroom needs, even manicures and pedicures) Also, medical (medication & wound care). I also do light house keeping. Very good at organizing, de-clutering, making meal plans and grocery shopping. I ALWAYS take notice of what client likes (brands, etc). I especially enjoy outings out (restaurants, shopping, doctor's appointments, etc.). I have my own car. I encourage exercising (walking, range of motion) whatever the client is able to do. I coordinate to their ability. It is important to maintain strength and ability for quality of life. I've been very fortunate these past 7 years to have had the experience in-home health care. I have found this to be the highlight in my medical career.
