About Dixie

After raising my own three daughters and a stepson, I also raised one of my granddaughters. What a joy it was to have a lively, happy child around! It was - and still is - our delight to be around her. I am a loving caretaker, but I also know how to exercise authority, when required and requested. Playing games and cards, spending time with pets, taking a walk, or reading books are some of my preferred ways of occupying my time with children. I'm a strong, healthy, community-minded woman who enjoys walking to stay in shape and remain youthful. Now that I am somewhat retired, I'd like to earn extra income by helping others.
