My name is Dominique. Awesome information about me. First I'm fully vaccinated. I have some college exposure in early childhood education but most of my experience comes from being hands on from the jobs I've had. I currently work full time with two families. A 1 year and a 13-year-old with autism. I have experience with all age groups from working at a daycare. I've worked specifically in the infant/toddler room and just really enjoy what I do. I also have experience working with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities as you can see, tutoring and nannying full time. In my spare time I read books on personal development, enjoy a little online shopping and travel when I can. Honestly I'm still learning about myself and what I'm passionate about but I've always been a great caregiver. I hired Dominique to assist me in getting to a Post Surgery Check-Up, which entailed her “spotting me” as I scooted down four flights of stairs on my bottom (because my Apt building’s elevator is out of service), then driving me to Metro. Prior to hiring her, she came to my Apt. to meet me in-person & get a feel for where to park, how long it will take to get here, etc. On the day of my appt, she reached out to see if I wanted coffee (yes please) & to let me know she was on her way. She carried my wheelchair down 4 flights while spotting me, then pushed me around to 2 diff departments at Metro. After my Dr. appt, we ran errands & went to the grocery store. She carried my wheelchair and my heavy groceries up four flights of stairs in ONE trip! (She’s very strong.) She is attentive to her patient’s needs. She thinks way, far ahead. She is logical. She is not only intelligent (street smart), but she is emotionally intelligent. And she caters to all ages and all needs: young children, teens, healthy people who have a broken leg (me), and older folks who have dementia. 10 out of 10! Gold star! Highly recommend!
