Before and while doing that I was doing 24 hr care for my father who had Alzheimer's disease and passed away at the age of 93 in 2010. Before caring solely for my father, I did part time jobs for elderly people. My duties included running errands, housekeeping, cooking, helping to pay bills, companionship, and helping with basic personal care.
