I am a loving and nurturing 51-year-old who loves to help and entertain people. I have always been a caregiver for my family and would like to share my abilities with others. I had my CNA license in Va in the year 1993. I let that expire when I moved back to MD to take care of my grandmother who had Alzheimer's Disease. Since then I ran a day care out of my house for 12 years, and continues to take care of my aunt who had CHF and COPD. . For the past 6 years I took care of bothy mother and father. my father had Alzheimer's and my mother had CHF and COPD. My father passed away 8 years ago in September and my mother passed away three years ago in April. After my mother passed away I decided it was time to get my CNA license back so I was able to do that and am looking for "the right fit.". Being a caregiver, I understand the stress of having someone in your home and the stress it puts on the loved one being cared for.
