About Doris

I love working with people and children. I moved my mom in with me when she had dementia and cancer, I became her caretaker. I also took in my father-in-law after having a stroke and cancer. As their caretaker, I prepared their meals and snacks, changed bed linens, cleaned and ironed their laundry, kept up with their room. I assisted with moving them in and out of bed, baths, wheelchairs and cars. I performed personal tasks, eating, dressing, toileting, and shaving. I am very good with and love animals and children as well. In December 2018, I took on a steady job with a well-known private duty home care company in Sarasota. I did the ADL's along with most other needs necessary for day to day living for all age adults. I am presently working at an assisted living facility and would like to get back in private duty home health care.
