About Doris

I have over 10 years of experience with in-home caregiving and over six years working with a professional home care agency. In my position with the home care agency, I received regular instruction regarding caring for elderly patients with special needs related to Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, MS, strokes, and other debilitating conditions. I also served clients in a companionship role providing limited transportation to local appointments and errands such as grocery shopping. My greatest attributes recognized by my employer and clients were my dependability and compassion for those I served. Some of my regular duties included preparing simple meals, assisting with dressing, laundry, medication reminders, monitoring hydration, conversation, and other supportive tasks. My experience also includes caring for elderly relatives and elderly friends from my church.
