Hello I'm Dorothy. I have 10+ years experience working with elders in their homes providing private care. I am extremely reliable, friendly and punctual. I was a CNA in Georgia and then attended nursing school in Tampa. After starting a family, I decided to work as a assistant teacher for the last few years at a private school in Windermere. It allowed me time with my kids as well as a flexible schedule but my heart is in caring for seniors. During the pandemic I decided to go back to senior care, doing private in home care. I worked for two wonderful clients in Keens Point and the Windermere/Independance area, up until a few months ago. I'm hoping to find a client/family who needs my services, companionship and care. Dorothy was a caregiver for my 85 year old Mom who had Parkinson’s and dementia until she passed away recently. She was a godsend. She is an upbeat, delightful person eager to help often going above and beyond. She is truly a wonderful person and a pleasure to have in our home. To this day, she is like family. Any one who hires her would indeed be lucky. Thank you so much Dorothy for enriching ours and our mother's life.
