About Dorys

Hi! My name is Dorys. I have worked with children for over 40 years. I have been a child educatior as well as a nanny, and I love every minute of it. My most recent job has been with two boys who I took care of and loved for 14 years. I am bilingual, and have taught all my nanny kids to speak Spanish fluently. I like staying active with the children and taking them on lots of activities. I'd describe my personality as kind, smart, and calm I love working with kids because I love when they reach milestones, and I love knowing that I helped foster that. I started working with kids when I was about 18 years old as a teacher. I was also an assistant to a speech therapist in Ecuador. In my spare time I like to bake, cook and hike with my friends and Family. One thing you should know about me is I am a problem solver and I am also someone who truly enjoys my job. My skills include leading transitions all transitions including sleep training, potty training, school transitions ect.
