About Drew

Hi, I'm Drew! I'm a full-time environmental journalist and owner of two adorable cats (Momo and Fishstick) who's passionate about empowering future generations and giving caregivers the break they need to show up better for their kids. My personality is cheerful, engaging, and capable, and I understand that each child and teen has their unique strengths and struggles. One thing you should know about me: I believe watching kids means being a role model. I will always try to set a good example, be a safe space to talk, and respect your house rules! I started working with kids when I was in middle school and continued off and on from then. I love all the funny, endearing stories I've collected over the years. My skills include kindly and constructively managing different temperaments, including those stemming from children and teens on the autism spectrum; scheduling activity or learning-based play if that's something families would like; and cleaning up messes!
