About Elana

I'm originally from Greenville and just got back from a year teaching third graders in Spain. I also helped out with ages 4-5 and fifth grade while there. I had an excellent relationship with my students and they all wrote me awesome letters when I left :) I also grew up with a brother 7 years younger than me and have always taken care of him like a third parent. I know how to change diapers, I cook very well and can prepare dinner or other meals for your family if you tell me what you like. I am a very safe driver, I've never been in any accidents, and have a well-maintained SUV that can fit car seats. I like to laugh and play so kids have fun with me and won't find themselves bored without anyone to play with. I think kids are supposed to be silly, explore, and be creative. I guide them towards their own solutions when problem-solving and respond when they ask for assistance.
