Hi! My name is Elena and I am a recent graduate from Kenyon College, a small liberal arts college in rural Ohio. I am moving back to Portland in September until December and looking to consistently work with young kids! I have 8 years of varying childcare experience including being a camp counselor, a multi week outdoor backpacking guide (this summer I led two week backpacking trips for high schoolers in Iceland), a nanny, and interning at a center with kids who have autism. I have worked with kids ranging from 1-17 years both as a care giver as well as a peer leader and teacher. Outside of working with kids, I love to sing (I studied music at Kenyon) and spend time outdoors. I am proficient in Spanish and can cook and bake as well. I am very organized, detail oriented, open minded, and empathetic. I am also certified in basic first aid, CPR, and Wilderness First Aid. I can't wait to meet you!
