About Elisabeth

I have been a private tutor for the past 9 years! I have tutored all ages and enjoy seeing children learn. I have earned my BA in Psychology with my focus being on child and adolescent development and learning styles at North Central College, and have completed my music minor and a focus in business. As a result I know how to teach children in a manner that they can understand based on their strengths and talents. I am a focused tutor who likes to work hard, have fun, and strive for excellence. I like to set up a course of action with the parent and child with a clear starting point and ending point for their academic objectives. I come up with fun ways to track progress and reward successes. I am currently earning my Master's in Clinical Mental Health from Bradley University and personally apply the techniques I teach to my own learning. I love to learn and consequently make learning fun and effective for all of my students!
