I'd describe my personality as kind, friendly, and easy to get along with. I like working with animals because I can't have any in my home, per my leasing agreement, so this allows me time with some furry friends. I'm looking for a job that allows me to earn some income while fitting into my schedule of part-time teacher and online graduate student. I started working with pets when I was in college. I have pet sat many times over the last 20 years for friends, as well as owning two dogs (in a previous home) until they passed away. In my spare time, I like to be with my sons, go hiking, travel, cook, read, watch sports, crochet, and try new things. One thing you should know about me is I am a single mom. It is likely, on extended overnight pet sitting jobs, my 10-year-old son would need to stay with me. He is well-behaved and loves animals. My skills include following the routines and expectations set in place by the owners, taking dogs for long walks, and loving the pets well.
