About Elizabeth

I've worked in education as a teacher, a curriculum consultant to districts all over the country, and as a school administrator. I've worked with students at every grade level, and although I've left the industry and am now working in health, I still love helping children build their CONFIDENCE as they realize their own capabilities. I have found that children succeed when they are guided to learn in a way that makes sense to *them*, and I have also seen the power of simply believing in the child. Oftentimes, children struggle academically simply because they have struggled in the past and have learned to doubt themselves. So much of learning is confidence, and I love to show students how much I truly believe in them and watch their surprise and delight when they start to experience their own academic successes.
