About Eliza

Hi! My name is Eliza and I am currently getting a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Gardner Webb University (starting this fall) so all of my classes will be in the evening. I have several years of experience working with children of all ages. While I was in undergrad school in Charleston, I was a nanny for a 6-month-old baby for a semester. After I graduated early in December of 2023, I became a Behavior Technician for children with autism from January to May during my semester off from school. I also have been a summer tennis instructor at the local city park for the past 2 years (including this summer) for kids ages 5 to 14. I also have had some experience volunteering in child care for a church group, in which I've worked mostly in the nursery and with toddlers ages 2-4. It has been so special for me to see the kids I've worked with learn and grow in many ways, and I have learned so much working with them as well!
