With 5 years of experience in the education field, accompanied by my M. A. in Education from UCLA, I'm here to support your child achieve their academic goals. My experience includes teaching English as a Foreign or Second Language, literacy intervention, and most recently manager of support for an online math tutoring organization. In tutoring, I typically focus on ELA for grades K-8, helping students gain emergent reader skills, increase their fluency, and improve their reading comprehension. While I strive to incorporate fun and creativity in my teaching through games and interactive activities, my core philosophy is rooted in the constructivist approach, empowering students to construct their own knowledge as they acquire the essential skills necessary to achieve their goals.
