About Elyssa

I love working with children, helping them learn and grow while creating strong bonds. I am patient, caring, fun, and reliable. I have over 6 years' experience working in childcare. First, I worked at a local daycare for over 3 years until I started to nanny 2 boys. I cared for them for over 2 years until they started school full-time; they were 1. 5 and 3. 5 and are now 4 and 6 YO. Most recently I had a 3-month, short-term nanny share position caring for 2 infants (3 and 5 months old). As a childcare professional, I have the most experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I occasionally care for a 22 MO with a feeding tube and oxygen, he was a preemie and I have cared for him since he was 12 weeks old after leaving the NICU. I previously cared for children with other types of special needs like Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. I have completed online early childhood training's, college level courses, and recently updated my First Aid/CPR certification.
