About Emily

I'd describe my personality as kind, articulate, and creative. I like tutoring because I love helping kids work through challenges and reach goals. I have been an educator and coach for over 20 years and I am a lifelong learner. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and creative. The ideal job would be require work time a few times a week either mornings or afternoons. I started tutoring when I was in graduate school in 2008. In my spare time, I like to be with my family, coach soccer, ski, and do all sorts of outdoor activities. I also like DIY projects, art projects, and gardening. One thing you should know about me is I am a mom of two kids in primary school. My skills include a primary education background with a speciality in ELA writing skills and reading comprehension. Plus, I love sharing key tricks for helping ADHD kids with executive functioning.
