About Emily

Hi! I have 3. 5 years of Montessori experience, and 5 years total experience in the classroom. I focus on developing life skills, and I love to provide support and encouragement to every child. I am patient, kind, and growth focused. Confidence is what I aspire to instill in each child I work with. I like working with children because I love their curious nature. It is so rewarding to watch a kid learn and start to understand life. I love making milestones with fun activities such as: art, music, nature walks, dancing, cooking, etc. Caring for our environment is important in my teaching. I started babysitting in high school with neighborhood children. I worked in childcare classrooms for 5 years. In my spare time, I paint, dance to music, and forage for rocks. I enjoy hands on crafts, and spending time with my friends and family. My top 3 childcare skills include: creative projects, developmental strategies, and communicating effectively with children with minimal vocabulary.
