About Emily

I'd describe my personality as kind, conscientious, and attentive. I like working with kids because they can bring the best out of me while also challenging me to be active and understanding. I'm looking for a job that is part-time, where I can attend to the needs of parents and their kids when they need help or time off. I started working with kids when I was 20 years old when my nephew was born and I have babysat him since he was an infant to now a toddler. In my spare time, I like to do arts and crafts. Specifically painting, drawing, origami, and sewing. Often in my spare time, admittedly, I mostly do errands and chores. One thing you should know about me is that I graduated from college and have a bachelors in psychology. Although my degree is in general psychology I have taken classes like developmental psychology and early childhood /adolescence psychology that has given me valuable information and insight. My skills include communication, patience, and empathy.
