About Emily

Hi there! I'm a teacher / assistant director of a well known Berkeley infant and preschool program. My specialty being running the art program (I have a background in painting/sculpture). Unfortunately it's become quite hard to manage living in the Bay Area as a teacher and so thinking about my future longevity here and truly wanting to stay, I'm looking for ways to additionally support myself. Happy to provide anything needed to feel comfortable! I currently work with 1-6yr olds, and work long 9hour days during the week for the past 8yrs. I've had many wonderful opportunities to work with kids additionally through being a Camp Counselor for 5 years through YMCA for girls ages 6-16, working as a teacher's assistant at Berkeley High School in their AHA program, ages 16-18, and multiple volunteer and nannying efforts in my own youth as well as working at Alameda County Office of Education. All the support I truly feel so grateful for. I provide lots of warmth, fun, safety and giggles!
