About Emily

I'd describe my personality as good-natured, bubbly, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because they have so much heart and love to give. I always enjoy being a part of their lives, and seeing the person they're going to be. Their bright minds astound me. I'm looking for a job that both the caretaker and the child(ren) will enjoy. I want to be able to add to the care-receivers life. At the end of the day, I want to be a positive presence. I started working with kids the day my sisters were born, although, I'm sure you've heard that before. I've been a caregiver my whole life. I only started financially caretaking at 17. In my spare time, I like to read the newest book, write short stories, play with my dogs or spend quality time with my loved ones. One thing you should know about me is I will give my 100% everyday and I take child safety very seriously. My skills include arts & crafts, time management (for bed times, meals, etc), and homework help - middle school and under.
