About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily Schneeberg and I am currently a permanent substitute teacher in New Rochelle. I received a Bachelor's Degree from Iona University in Early Childhood and Childhood Education and a Master's Degree from the University. I hold two New York State Initial Certificates in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. My New York State Literacy (All Grades) Certificate is currently pending. In my 3 years as a substitute teacher, as well as during my Literacy Practicum experience, I've honed my knowledge of assessment, data-driven instruction, NYS standards and curriculum, and developing individualized instruction to best meet the needs of students in grades K-5. I strive to make genuine connections with my students to ensure a comfortable and engaging learning environment for them. I am hoping to apply the knowledge and skills that I have gained throughout my educational and professional careers to a tutoring position!
