About Emily

I have my degree in early childhood education and am currently on track for my masters degree in education! I have five years of paid experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I was a lead teacher in infant/ toddler rooms and currently a teacher in a Montessori preschool! I have been babysitting since I was a child myself! I love to engage children with educational and imaginative activities, along with doing arts and crafts, or reading stories! I also have experience and an educational background with physical activities, such as sports and nature walks. I love watching children's growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment! I have a car and if the family is comfortable I love joining story time/ activities at library's, museums and zoos! I am first aid trained and know how to preform CPR, I am not yet certified in CPR but willing to do so! I also love animals and have experience working with dogs through a dog day care and boarding facility!
