About Emily

I am the mother of four children who are now 12-16 years old, so I'm familiar with children of all ages, both boy and girl. It is important to me that children learn, especially from an early age, the importance of a healthy lifestyle, including food choices and plenty of exercise through play. Creativity is an important aspect of both play and learning and I enjoy helping children access the creativity within themselves as a method for attaining their goals. Outside of parenthood, I have cared for children of all ages through babysitting since I was 12 years old. More recently, I have had after-school experience which included transportation from school to various activities throughout the afternoon, and homework completion and assistance, depending on need. I regularly volunteer at my children's schools and extracurricular activities, including sports and drama club, as well. Most importantly, when I am caring for children, I do so as though they are my own, and create an atmosphere for fun, learning, and enrichment no matter the ages or number of children involved.
