About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, I'm a 26-year-old based in McHenry. I am a caring, active, well educated and attentive individual that has experience caring for children aged 6 months - 12 years. I have experience as a K-5 camp counselor for 2 years, substitute taught middle schoolers for one year, as well as having experience caring for friend's/family's young ones. Safety and well being is priority number one, and I am happy to help with any house work/errands as well. I am a natural caregiver and believe I would make a wonderful asset to any household and would leave a positive impact on any kids I care for. I like working with kids because childhood is such an important time in your life. The memories, education, and experiences you receive as a child can seriously shape your future and how you view the world, so it's important to have a well rounded and happy childhood. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors, visit local downtown shops & cafes, read, and bake.
