About Emily

Hi! I am a new mom of a sweet and spunky little boy who was born July 6th, and am looking to care for one or two children during the week part time. I have 18 years of experience, all ages from infant to teenager and all types ranging from in home private care to daycare to overnights. My bachelors is in Studio Art and my associates is in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in a very country setting, so spent most of my time outside and being encouraged to get creative, something I value and will continue as a parent and do as an educator. Music is also a huge part of my life, while I do not play an instrument, we are a live music family and constantly have music going in the house, in the car or wherever we are, another thing my parents did and I thank them for R is my background and training and my basis for most teaching, so providing the tools and support for positive and productive exploration, while observing and caring for each individuals needs.
