Emily was a top candidate for our nanny position. However, she ghosted me. We started with a phone call and then planned on a in-person meet up. Shortly before our meet up, she had work obligations arise so we agreed on a Facetime call. We had a pleasant call or at least I thought. She indicated she'd like to share a contract for review, which I had no obligation to. The next day I messaged her my e-mail address. The message was read but no response received. The following day I sent a follow up message, and again the message was read but no response received. To this day, I have not received any communication from Emily. As many parents know, finding and interviewing candidates is not easy. I understand if a position or family may not be the right fit for a candidate, but some type of communication indicating such is expected. I do wish Emily the best in her endeavors.
