About Emma

I moved to New Jersey in June of 2021 from Northwest Arkansas, but originally I'm from the UK. I would love to care for your children in my new home town, Weehawken! I had been working as a teacher for the past 10 years with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and am looking for an exciting opportunity to care for children in their own homes as a nanny. I specialise in behavior support for children between 3-6yrs old but I also have experience with children up to 11 yrs old. Back in England, I had a class of 30 4-5yr olds and I took great pride in making my classroom have a homely feel where each child felt loved, welcome and happy. I earned a certificate with a charity for engaging the children and their families, as well as my colleagues at school, in several fun activities that promoted learning in conjunction with having fun! I love reading with children and doing arts and crafts. I am also a lifelong learner and am happy to share some top tips with you as an educator!
