When we met Emma, our children were 6 and 8 years old. She always went out of her way to make sure they felt loved while I had to be at work. When the kids were off from school, she would come to me prior with different options to keep them busy during the day. She knew I didn’t like them just sitting on the couch all day. She brought them to festivals, hikes, geocaching, her Mom’s flower shop, museums, play grounds to name a few. During our time with Emma, I have experienced an individual who shows up on time if not early, works hard, and carries themselves in a polite, respectable manner. Whenever her schedule would alter due to her schooling, she always spoke to me in person. I always found that very commendable as understanding the importance of having a conversation vs a text message.
