About Emmalee

I have loved animals since I was a child. I currently have a corn snake, mossy frog, Syrian hamster, and 6 cats as well as 2 strays I take care of outside. Two of my cats are boys who seem to have been abandoned, I originally planned to TNR but a combination of health care needs and being the sweetest boys led to them staying! I have had cared for large and small dogs, myself had a dachshund who was my best friend in the world. I also helped my Mema with puppies over the years from her labs. I've had various small mammals- rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, etc. I have also had fish, my brother is a big marine guy. Im currently researching herpetology/ community ecology - focusing on small arthropods and eastern red backed salamanders. My honors thesis this senior year is on earthworms so I'm not afraid of getting messy and know how to do a lab level clean up !
