About Emma

I believe in very open and frequent communication with the families I am working with. I believe in a gentle and respectful relationship with the children I care for. My philosophy is that play based learning is extremely beneficial to young ones development. I like to find a balance of giving kiddos space to use their imagination and follow a child lead curriculum. I will facilitate activities as well that would change depending upon the child's interests. I know that starting my childcare journey working for a preschool has helped me understand how to approach children's needs and understand the importance of communication and how structure is so important for young ones. As well as understanding that some things don't go according to plan when it comes to little ones. I love to adapt as I go as that is necessary when caring for kiddos! I'm CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle. I have been a nanny for over 5 years and have multiple excellent references!
