About Emma

I like working with kids because they are, at times, the most joyful creatures on the planet and the next the worst. You never know what you're going to get, learn, experience, or enjoy when working with children of any age. I started working with kids when I was still a child myself. I swam year round, but I enjoyed the summer because it gave me the chance to help the coaches teach the little kids how to swim. I went on to teach swim lessons and then started working with children with mental and behavioral problems. Working with children is something I've never stopped doing. In my spare time, I like to read, work out, hang with my family, and enjoy a good movie or TV show on occasion. I take care of those children placed in my hands as I would my own son. I love working with children on the ASD spectrum and those with special needs.
