About Emma

I've always loved animals and have grown up with a house full of dogs and cats. I currently have an 8-year-old great Pyrenees lab mix named Boondock, a 16-year-old Persian long haired cat named Persia, and a 13-year-old dachshund Yorky mix named Buddy. Although Buddy is technically my boyfriend's dog, I primarily care for him. As a future nurse, I care deeply about people, and that compassion for care translates to animals as well. I believe that animals are much more complex and carry more thoughts and feelings then people give them credit for, so I always make it a priority to treat my animals the way I would want to be treated and do my best to help them live their lives to the fullest. I feel that I have a special bond with all of my animals and that we are able to communicate and understand each other. I also cared for horses for a summer when I was younger through my churches summer program, which was fun! And I would love to help care for other peoples fur babies as well!
