About Erika

Hello, I'm Erika ! I'm a 20-year-old college student, where I am majoring in psychology. I have a lot of experience working with children through various channels. I babysat all throughout high school, and especially love working with younger children. I began my freshman year with a tutoring program, where I tutored children from grades K-5 in math and reading. Then, I began volunteering at an organization called L. E. T. S. Play. It used soccer as a tool to help children (mainly 2nd graders) with English skills through scrimmages and outdoor activities. My next experience came as a teaching assistant for multiple camps over the summer after my freshman year of college. With this job, I lead the children (from ages 6-12) in multiple games and arts and crafts projects. I was in charge of about 30 kids throughout the day: I assisted them in their activities, and took them on breaks outside.
