About Erin

I have had many years of experience caring for and working with children whether it was in my personal or professional life. I have a large, extended family and from babysitting/playing school with them I have grown a love for teaching that has turned from internships in high school to (what I believe is my permanent) career choice. I have had various experience working in schools and with both general and special education students. I can teach various subject areas, but I have the most experience in teaching English Language Arts and French. I currently teach some of the world's future scientists, teachers, and leaders at a middle school in the Bronx and I also am currently a student at Fordham University working to obtain my Master of Science in Teaching (Dual General and Special Education 1-6). Aside from teaching and being a student myself, I am heavily involved in coaching sports and running various afterschool and social-emotional development programs, pre-COVID.
