About Erin

As a longtime educational professional, I'm passionate about teaching. For over 28 years, I have taught students of all ages and abilities. I pride myself on my ability to genuinely connect with a student, which helps them grow their confidence and learn better. Though primarily an Elementary teacher, I have taught students as young as 3 and up to junior year in college. I have both my Elementary Certification in NJ (N-8) as well as my Elementary Certification in CT (1-6). My experience includes traditional classroom teaching, distance learning, and one-on-one support. I am trained in Columbia College Writing and Reading, Math programs such as: Singapore, Common Core, Eureka, and TERC. My specialties are ELA, essay writing, executive functioning skills/support, working with students who have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and students who have mild dyslexia. Recently taught a pod of students who ranged from K-2nd grade. Currently teaching ages 3-17. Happy to provide resumé and recs.
