About Evan

Hello! My name is Evan, and I'm so excited to help your family! I have 3+ years of experience working with young children in various educational and childcare positions internationally. In Egypt, I have worked in international schools, both in Montessori and British sections. I also have worked within the SPED sections of schools. Over the past three and a half years, I have been living and working outside of the US. The experiences I've had have been both challenging and exciting, and great instigators of personal and professional growth for me. I absolutely love working with children and want to transition this career to the United States. Patience and Positive Discipline philosophy are essential in how I center myself as a teacher and caretaker, and see my role as helping direct children towards independence, encourage curiosity, and foster a love for learning. I'm usually quite the busy bee - I love making different crafts, exploratory learning, and also cooking projects!
