Hello families! I'm a 23 yr old hoping to work in OC while I apply to grad schools. I like working with kids because they are unpredictable; there's always something to help them learn or a way to help them grow, and there's always something they can show me or teach me that I hadn't noticed before. I started working with kids at 16. I babysat for family before then, but by 16 I became a camp counselor, started babysitting for children who's parents were not family or family friends, and I was a student assistant at my dance studio. One thing you should know about me is I am vegetarian and don't know how to cook meat but I'm pretty good at getting kids to eat veggies! My skills include homework help, getting kids to sleep, and more. I've had a wide variety of working with kids of different backgrounds, conditions, and abilities - for example children with diabetes or Down syndrome - as well as I am a quick learner and can adapt to new challenges easily.
