About Felicia

I've been teaching for more than 15 years, cumulatively, having returned to Early Childhood Education in 2015. Before lockdown, I was a Lead Teacher for Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers. I prepared and implemented lesson plans in Reading & Writing Readiness, Speech Development, ESL, Spanish, Gross- and Fine-Motor Skills, Literacy, Social/Emotional Development, Math, Discovery (Science) and Music Appreciation, while driving a daily routine to instill security in my students. I also trained all my teaching assistants. With individual families, I can provide a complete program to fit your child's developmental and academic needs, amid the comfort and flexibility of your home. I'm a patient and loving teacher, who uses rich language and models kind and respectful interactions. Safety is my primary concern, and the basis of any "rules" I have. I currently work 30 hours per week, and am seeking part-time work; ideally with someone seeking weekend care. Available Thursday-Saturday.
