About Gail

I have worked as a friendly visitor with the elderly over 35 years . First as a volunteer through the town of Greenwich social services and then with many seniors from Old Greenwich , Stamford , New Canaan . I love to work with seniors and children . Some of the seniors I worked with had no family relatives living nearby so I would oversee their bill paying , grocery shopping , play board games , dominoes , card games and crosswords , go out to dinner , as well as sometimes accompany them to their hospital and doctors appointments. I often invited them to my home on the holidays and on day trips . The seniors and their distant families that I have worked with would say they felt safe, cared for and like an extension of my own family .
