About Gemma

I'd describe my personality as positive, thoughtful, and curious. I like working with kids because I come from a big family that gathers around the little ones to watch whatever performance, sport, or art exhibit they've prepared for us with big smiles on everyone's faces. The innocence, creativity, and wisdom of children is one that always amazes me. Also, I believe our priority as a society should be the health and safety of our children. My passion is psychology, and as I've learned more and more about the mental health crisis happening all over the world, I become more secure in my belief that children need an environment where they feel safe in order to become the best versions of themselves and the greatest representation of all of us! I started formally working with kids when I was 15 as a swim instructor, which was a lot of fun! In my spare time, I like to read, cook, practice yoga, and spend time with family. My skills include patience, enthusiasm, and creativity.
