I have a bachelors degree in elementary education. I want to care and teach the next generation of future learners. I believe each child is special and needs love and nurturing to thrive. I have been a counselor at the YMCA for after school care and summer camp. I just completed my student teaching within Leander ISD and taught the full curriculum. I took the children to various activities including library, lunch, PE, art, and music. I have been a babysitter for a family for years and also one other family with a single mother. The family has two kids who I watch and occasionally pick up from school. I also watch their three dogs as needed. I have experience in teaching literacy to students who are just learning to read. I would love to implement this into my care as needed. I am very punctual, self-motivated and reliable.
