I have cared for children and have been involved with child care services throughout my whole career. I recently retired from the Fairfax Department of Office for Children. While working for the child care department I completed over 200 hours of training in all various fields of child care. I have also become certified to perform CPR. I would love to help your family and be the ideal care taker, you would want for your children while you are away. I do have my own car and a clean driving record as well. Gladys was our nanny to our baby girl from when she was 9 months old to almost 4 years old. During that time, she became a treasured part of our family - more like a grandparent than a nanny. She cared for and loved our daughter like a family member. Gladys was flexible with her schedule as our jobs were sometimes demanding and unpredictable. She prepared food for our daughter, took her to activities, helped her nap, bathe, eat, changed diapers and helped her through potty training. As our daughter got older and needed to go more places outside the home, we installed a car seat in Gladys’s car and trusted her to drive our girl to all of her activities, with no incidents. Gladys also helped us around the house while our daughter napped or was at activities. She kept the house clean, and always picked up after our daughter as she got older and started to play with toys. Gladys is adored by our daughter. She is a wonderful nanny!!
