About Gloria

I am an educator with 30 years of experience working for the public system. I am licensed to teach in Wisconsin. I am a bilingual science and language arts middle school teacher for Milwaukee Public Schools. My favorite way to work with students is by engaging them in artistic and project-based activities. I have my principal license to run a school. I am highly energetic and well-traveled. I enjoy socializing, attending cultural events, and participating in numerous activities such as jazz, ballet, museums, cafes, hiking, kayaking, running, sports, libraries, and restaurants. As the oldest of 13 siblings, I spent numerous years supporting and caring for family and friends. While my mother was battling cancer, I was responsible for all things, including meals and feeding her, transportation to all of her medical appointments, and recreational activities.
